I installed ant with openjdk-6-jre and gij. When i try to run ant
it's saying:
$ ant
Unable to locate tools.jar. Expected to find it in
/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/lib/tools.jar
After installed openjdk-6-jdk it's solved. I guess
Ant itself does not need java compiler to run. Following is the message I get.
$ ant
Unable to locate tools.jar. Expected to find it in
/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/lib/tools.jar
Buildfile: build.xml does not exist!
Build failed
You can see that while tools.jar is not present, ant tried to lookup
Yes Onkar. You are right. It's working fine without jdk, but it's only
getting this warning.
