[Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#757315: Patch available

2014-11-25 Thread tv.deb...@googlemail.com

Dear maintainers,

confirming that the patch indicated by Leonardo Montecchi [1] in
previous message #19 does work, tested on Debian Sid current with large
image collection across multiple sources and mysql database. Digikam
works as expected, two days of intensive use show no regression or
side-effect, settings now fully functional and meta-data operations work.

Would it be possible to bump severity to important (due to stricter
freeze in place) to get it in Jessie, or Jessie+1 at least ? Without the
patch opening Digikam amounts to a local DOS for users of an external
mysql database, usually those users are the ones with large images
collections and more intensive use of Digikam.

Thank you for your work and attention.

[Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#757315: Patch available

2014-11-06 Thread Leonardo Montecchi
Dear Maintainer, and all,

please note that a patch for this bug is now available:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=337737

It would be great if it could be included in the official Debian
package, as it is a very annoying bug for who is using the MySQL
backend.

Thanks,
Leonardo.
