i fixed my problem by using kodi-peripheral-joystick package from
deb-multimedia.org.

(ok, pl dont beat me ;) i know this repo can cripple package management)

only problem was dependency.

workaround - extract deb package, change dependency in control file and
rebuild

change kodi-peripheral-joystick_1.2.1-dmo1_amd64/DEBIAN/control file
kodi (>= 5:17.0~) to kodi (>= 2:17.0~)

It happened again: I paused the playback in Clementine, then I opened an audio 
file in Audacity and the output was garbled. With option "env 
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=30" the output was fine. I tried to change output device but 
no luck. After some attempts, I closed Clementine, and the output from Audacity 
was fine. Now I can not reproduce the issue between Clementine and Audacity: 
the output is fine when Clementine is paused, and it is fine even during the 
Clementine playback.

I was affected too by this issue. I solved by going to the preferences into 
Devices and changing the playback device from "default" to another one. Oddly 
now it keeps working even if I select back "default".

Thanks for reporting it, and sorry for the long delay.

Indeed, PyMapperGUI should depend on python-libmapper, which is already
packaged for Debian. However, python-libmapper is not considered stable
enought by the upstream to be in Debian testing/stable. See details
here:

So I've just fixed PyMapperGUI package to depend on python-libmapper,
but it will be only in unstable for now. I'll ping the libmapper
upstream and check if they're going to release a stable release of their
library soon.

by VDPAU, but other recognized as unsupported types, like wmv9 ( 
example:

made with musescore_1.3. Could you perform the check with the new
musescore (2.0.x) package which is in Sid?

Also, should I propose the current patch for Jessie (which ships
musescore_1.3)? I'm not certain if this issue fits for a stable update
request.

xcfa contains several insecure uses of temporary files.

For example the file src/get_info.c has code to test that
curl is present, in the function GetInfo_wget which
essentially runs:

This is probably safe, because wget will not follow symlinks, and will
instead create index.html.1 - but any existing file called /tmp/index.html
will be removed regardless.

More serious issues exist throughout the codebase.  For example the
code in dvdread_create_recap_audio, located in src/dvd_read.c contains
this lovely function:

help of upstream.

I still consider this a bug in XVideo drivers, but there is a

So that sentence sounds a lot like trolling libav developers and the 
choice of libav by the Debian multimedia team. I don't know where you 
stand on libav vs ffmpeg, but the green line issue is solely between VLC 
and the XVideo drivers. VLC and at least some XVideo drivers disagree on 
how scaling cropped pictures should be achieved.

25 is not much a difference from current limitation which is 20.
When you tell about 10 - 10 is default, which can be changed in the
configuration dialog, but you cannot increase it over 20, only way to
increase is manually editing ini file but in that case you will be
forever prohibited to open configuration again because it will then
instantly reset it to 20 and drop all the history items over 20.

Just compare it with the URL history which is maxed to 50. Have partial
history being much bigger than full history is insane, and I believe full
history should be allowed to set to 50 as well.

Yes - thanks to both James  Tobias for your help with this!

I was working through the issues one by one, and was planning to
update the RFS bug with my status today :-)

The manpage is done, and just needs checking. I have already been in
touch with upstream about the 3 Mayhem bugs, and will forward the
manpage  the other patches. I will also discuss the other warnings 
build issues.

The upstream author (Seymour) actually uses Debian, so he is extra

Bug#756600: xcfa: Insecure use of temporary files, subject to race conditions

xcfa contains several insecure uses of temporary files.

For example the file src/get_info.c has code to test that
curl is present, in the function GetInfo_wget which
essentially runs:

wget --user-agent=\Mozilla 22.0\ --directory-prefix=/tmp/  
http://google.fr/

if [ -e /tmp/index.html ]; then 
rm /tmp/index.html
fi

This is probably safe, because wget will not follow symlinks, and will
instead create index.html.1 - but any existing file called /tmp/index.html
will be removed regardless.

More serious issues exist throughout the codebase.  For example the
code in dvdread_create_recap_audio, located in src/dvd_read.c contains
this lovely function:

I'd strongly urge the maintainer to audit the codebase for additional issues, 
with the
help of upstream.
