This is an invalid bug. Your script is trying to run a dynamic library
plugin as an executable. That will always crash.

well yes, this is why Debian policy states that:
Shared libraries should not be installed executable, since the dynamic
linker does not require this and trying to execute a shared library
usually results in a core dump.

 /usr/lib/pd/extra/flite/flite.pd_linux

If you are going to file mass bugs, you need to be sure that you are not
 generating garbage.

now i figure that the mayhem testsuite tried to run all executable
files installed by a given package. since flite.pd_linux *is* installed
as executable, the test properly tried to run this file and failed.

i think that we should just fix the permissions (rather than declare
those bugreports as bogus)

flite.pd_linux crashes with exit status 139. We confirmed the crash by
re-running it in a fresh debian unstable installation.

The attachment [1] contains a testcase (under ./crash) crashing the
program. It ensures that you can easily reproduce the bug. Additionally,
under ./crash_info/, we include more information about the crash such as
a core dump, the dmesg generated by the crash, and its output.
