The Ghostscript project recently applied a patcvh to their copy of
OpenJPEG2 with the following commit message:

I take the liberty to generalize this bugreport: Essentially it's same
bug no matter if fixed through patch or through proper upstream support.

the convenience copy of openjpeg in ghostscript, which might be relevant
to Debian:
