It would be simple to make feh deal properly with

Images these days come with long URLs,

From the man page it is hard to tell how to adjust the thumbnail size in
index mode.
One has to read the montage mode options, then guess that
$ feh -E 200 -y 200 -i mypixdir
will also work.

Let's take the 'control point table' window.
It lacks a 'close' button.
That makes one think as one hits the X on the upper right, that one is
doing something abnormal by wanting to close it.
