I'm awfully sorry. :'(
I had manually upgraded ipython to version 10.1 and reverting back to the
official version 10 Debian package makes the problem disappear. So this bug
may be closed.
Nevertheless, when you plan to upgrade ipython, I can test, if you need, an
experimental package on my
