Please try new upstream snapshot: http://people.debian.org/~piotr/python-pywt_0.1.7~svn109-1_amd64.deb I've already rebuilt it from current SVN trunk with your debian/ packaging ;-) apparently in revision 103 Filip have done heavy refactoring of pywt, so my bugs are somewhat obsolete since
