Dear Lists, There are many softwares (with many passionate adherents). Some of them are very good upto say 2 million rows but lose steam after that despite having very good focus in innovating algorithms. Some of them are very good on same PC for much more data but become comfortable with the copyrights to innovate on algorithms.
I am taing the risk of proposing the Ohri framework for creating R Rattle GUI (can be placed by any analytical software) in a cloud computer . With pay per usage of processing power.And very user friendly to analysts who did not pay for masters degree.or to small consultants. If you are a small academic or a consultant who has dreamt of lot more processing power, here is a framework. It may be totally crap, but the intention is to take data mining to the common masses. Its only fair to pay per usage.Why pay for software , when on your coffee break. Even if you are poor.Especially so. Thanks for reading this.
