Fellow drop bar Appaloosa owner here. I've been trying to figure out for
some time how to get my dynamo light and front bag to play nicely - I
really like your solution of putting the light under the bag. What rack are
you using on the front there?

Great to hear you're reunited with your bike. I also want to echo Matt's
warning on acetone. Isopropyl alcohol (aka. IPA or rubbing alcohol) will
clean off the permanent marker instantly without damaging the clear coat.
