My greased Roadini binder failed almost immediately with very little torque applied. Seems it was slightly too short for the job. Replaced with this bolt <https://www.mcmaster.com/90037A128/> and this nut <https://www.mcmaster.com/90237A130/>. The new bolt is ever so slightly long for the application but it works great. The blackish nut is not my preference but I live in the country and was eager to source a robust solution. (And not much of it shows as most of it is hidden inside the seat lug.) Delivered, this was a $30 resolution (which makes me feel foolish); Rivendell could do so much better here.
