Sad to hear it, but not unexpected given the supply chain crisis.

Philip,
You’ve got it!! This is exactly what I’m looking for. I’m going to try it with
my next mustache bar (I don’t currently have one).
This is awesome, I didn’t think it’d be possible. Anything special to note with
how you did the conversion?
Cheers,
Zack

So I maybe didn't describe this well enough. Just imagine a mustache bar
but with the brake hoods in the standard position for a drop bar. So it's
like a normal dop bar, but all parts of the bar are on the same plane. The
idea is to have a normal hoods position, plus a swoop back part of the bar
Ok so for me the perfect road handlebar would allow me to run drop bar break
levers in the typical way for “endurance” riding, then with back sweep to allow
me to sit up and change my back angle. Basically I’m visualizing this as an
albastache bar but with the break levers vertical instead of
Soma makes a mustache bar that specifically takes flat bar levers.

Thank you, everyone, for your input. I didn't end up bidding on the XO-1.
I'm going to call Riv about a Roadini shortly!

Agreed. I made this post to the group a few days ago when the price was
still reasonable! Definitely off my list now. And encouraging to know that
all of you would prefer the Roadini anyway.

Yeah I'm really glad I didn't waste my time bidding on it.

Jason, when you say luxury, are you just referring to the aesthetics of also
the ride quality.

RBW Owners Bunch I need your help!
I'm looking to venture into the world of my first Rivendell/Bridgestone.
I'm at an impasse right now. I'm thinking of putting in an order for a
Roadini and set it up with the new Shikoro 38mm tires Riv is carrying. But
there's also a mint condition XO-1
GP would probably say that they have loads of bikes like that. More mounts =
weight = any of their touring oriented models. But if you’re referring to
cheaper tig welded models, then yes I definitely agree.
