My new Bantam has internal wiring for the taillight. You just run the wire
through the BB shell and out a port in the chainstay. Use some care when
you install/remove the BB cartridge but since there's no moving parts
contacting the wiring it should be fine in there - plenty of room without
Bummer. So sorry to hear this!
How would a different design alternately route the wire to avoid this slot
in the BB shell, I wonder?

with an incrementally growing crack spreading up the seat tube. This is
apparently an issue with the Zen Fabrication Ramblers - at least 4 of them
including mine. There's a slot in the BB between the seat tube and
Mike, what happened to the Rambler? Such a nice looking bike.
