In fairness to Mario, I should own up to speaking about non-western postal address issues in the past on-list and at the microphone, and as an RIR person. I think Mario would have been entitled to assume that meant we expected to use them or did use them. That I am not involved in the adoption

Tom and I put together an I-D outlining what a SimpleContact might look like. Of course I am biased, but I think this does simplify RDAP contact data considerably. Also note that while this I-D does support structured names (as is found in jCard and JSContact), we are unsure if they are needed
