Hi,
My mistake, I have been manipulating my test virtual machine and
reportbug too much I guess. It works perfectly on a fresh install. You
can close the bug.

Hi,
I was able to send a bug report with é and è in the real name. The
report was successfully sent and received. I guess the issue was solved
by latest versions. Could you confirm ?

Hi,
As stated by Cyril Brulebois, the warning in reportbug is pretty simple.
Better this warning than supporting a lot of MUAs. I guess we may close
this report.

Hi,
Configuration at the first use works for me on 3.39 and latest versions.
Could you provide more information on what command-line or anything else
you have been typing to launch reportbug ?

Hi,
As said by Chris, SMTP just doesn't work that way. It would require to
use something else, I don't know what. In any case it seems to me that
this bug report should go to the wishlist.

Hi,
Here is the first patch. This patch implements a warning for the user
using -A or i/a interactively and warns them about potential failures if
the file is 10MB. This patch also defines a --no-attachment-size
option which allows the user to disable this warning.
Hi,
I haven't done any uploads to reportbug in a few months and since others
seem to have taken things forward quite a bit, I removed myself from the

I will continue to be subscribed to the list and watch bugs, but in case
I find myself not doing it, I will also request

I read the reportbug code and saw in debianbts that available tags are
hardcoded. #524511 asks for the possibility to specify his own tag. Is
there any reason we shouldn't allow advanced or/and expert users to add
their own tags ? I'm asking because it
