I will try it next time I am in front of my piano and computer.
I will better understand your comments then.
One comment the person did say was that it was better to use it as you
were playing, vs on recorded items, because the results were better for
some reason.

I am a new user of RoseGarden and a new user to any software related to
music in general.
I am trying to use the metronome in rosegaden.
I can turn it on, but I have yet to figure out how to change the speed
it. I've varied the numbers per bar and bat, but this does not change
anything.
