GAP 4.9 (a release candidate, released 1st Feb) has smallgrps and transgrps, two GAP packages/libraries which are extremely useful, with GPL-compatible licenses. In the past (and up to current GAP 4.8) they had licenses non-GPL compatible licenses, preventing them from being made standard.
