On Debian testing running on core i7 + 16 GB RAM, upgrading 9.8.beta3 to
9.8.beta4 and running ptestlong gives me 3 (permanent) failures :

Yes, that works for me. (I see the same problem on OS X with Apple Silicon,
and that ticket also fixes the problem there.)
