Hmm, the X offset setting is controlled by the scanner itself. It is stored somewhere in the scanner firmware, but I'm not sure how we write to it. I can ask my contacts at Fujitsu for information. allan On Sun, Mar 8, 2020 at 2:02 PM Max Voit wrote: > > Dear all, > > I've been trying to duplex

Dear all, I've been trying to duplex scan A4 paper with the fi-6130. Setting "page-size" and "page-width" accordingly was not sufficient. There is about 2mm empty (grey) space on the right hand side for the front page, on the left for the back. And the bottom is cut off by about 1cm. After some

Hi, Way back when some of the SANE developers were working on the draft for Version 2 of the SANE Standard they realised so much and added a TODO[1] for a SANE_CAP_AUTO_POLL capability. The draft has been in "coma" since Autumn 2003 ... and that capability was not added. The SANE 1.0

Hi, I would prefer some kind of backend-to-frontend notification mechanism (pub-sub?) over polling but it should be made part of the SANE Standard so that all frontends can benefit from it. My two cents: there is a need for two kinds of asynchronous notifications, that can come from backend:

Hi Olaf, Maybe, maybe not. For the backends/scanners where these are marked as advanced, is there another less-advanced way to set the scan area? For example by choosing a paper size like A4 or Letter. If there is, I think I would classify the well-known scan area options as advanced too. I
