seems to be a SCSI problem. Opening the SCSI-device is ok. Writing seems
also to work. But reading is a problem. You can also have a look at the
system log messages. If there are errors reported from the SCSI drivers.

You'll need at least SANE-1.0.9 installed and the plustek.conf
file set to your device...
TPA means TransParency Adaptor and is delivered with the

installed. The usb subsystem may or may not be working. I see it come up
while booting up but I don't know how to tell if it is working.
