Hi,
I have a scanner/printer all in one lexmark X1180, and I have installed
fred Odendaal 's new backend for X1100 serie.
I run under Debian sarge 2.6.8 kernel on a PII 300mhz.
Compilation and installation was OK and the backend works.
There is just a problem with Black and White scan , and
Do you have a copy of the software needed to run a Scangraphic CF1000/44
SCSI scanner on Windows XP Pro SP2? I have the scanner program (ScanServ)
but do not have the software that is installed in response to the Found New
Hardware Wizard window.?
Best wishes,

Hi everyone,
I think the mustek_usb2 backend is ready for inclusion into CVS. The
backend has been provided by Mustek and was written by Roy Zhou, Jack
Xu, and Vinci Cen.
At the moment, the backend works for the Mustek Bearpaw 2448 TA Pro.
Patch against current CVS:
Marc,
Thank-you for your testing. I'll have to put a list of known problems on
my web page. I don't have blackwhite (which will be renamed line
art) working yet. I'm surprised it scanned at all! Also, I only have US
sizes (wallet, 3x5, 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, letter) configured. I still
need to

I recently bought a HP officejet 5110: it works very well as USB printer, but
I do not know how to configure it as scanner. I posted a message in another

repeating the question here.

Hi,
I thought the tool scantime could be useful for other developers so
I committed it to the experimental CVS. I use it to compare the
speed of scanners and to check optimizations in the backend.
From the source code:
scantime uses SANE to test how fast a scanner can transmit scanned
data.

The scanner seems to be supported by both the hpoj and hpaio backends.

Check that the backend names are in
sane-find-scanner shows only scanners which are accessed the standard

method. There are low-level driver daemons (HPLIP: hpiod and hpssd;

Hello
I have for some time been using the mentioned scanner, on my SuSE system.
But having upgraded my motherboard I can't access the scanner.
On the old system it worked, though only when I connected it to an
