Stef,
Obtained the latest git source code. The G4010 is detected. scanimage
--test passes. However, trying both Color and Gray modes all I get back
scanimage is a solid black image.
I'll keep looking around for more
Hi to all,
I am writing here to ask about this patch
http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/sane-devel/2006-September/017711.html
It is pretty old but interesting and I did not found that features
implemented in actual scanimage
roberto at napoleone:~/mio$ scanimage -V
scanimage

Hi,
Could someone tell me why it was refused, please?
scanadf implements this already, and the patch uses popen().
Does someone know any reason to not apply that patch?
The patch uses popen().

Hi,
Long-term, scanadf should be deprecated, so an alternative
implementation for scanimage would be considered. Do you have
suggestions for an alternative design Julien?
Yes, timing is on our side for once ;)
