sane-backend, but my scan is not recongnized.

Looks like you have run into some trouble on your schedule. :-) I just

I have updated the genesys backend for LiDE 110 support. Lide 210
support
may be easy to add. For that I need an usb log done after a fresh plug when
doing a 'test scanner' within the 'preferences' menu of scangear.
The backend will have to be built from sources

The only thing I would add to that is using different arguments to
configure, so that it overwrites the existing copy of sane-backends.
Otherwise, you have to mess around with ld to get it to load the copy
in /usr/local first.
so, I would do:
cd sane-backends
./configure --prefix=/usr
