Another thing to check is if the server can reach its own saned on
localhost, instead of using the scanner directly.

Could you detail a procedure for doing this?
Would adding localhost to the saned.conf accomplish this?

I am testing at work a multifunctional from Kyocera
It's a TASKalfa 255.
Is there any way to use it with sane? It does not appear listed on the
support page
