Hi everyone, i got a problem and can't find any solution. So i hope you can help me. I'm using XSane on Ubuntu 8.04. My scanner is an AGFA Snapscan 1236s (SCSI). Yesterday i got a transparency adapter for it. At first for some hours (with pauses) everything worked fine. I got great results.

Hi, thanks. Well...but there is more than just crashes of the X-Server. With other Programs (xscanimage) i only get a error message. I think the X-Server crash is just the consequenz of something else. As i wrote, i sometimes also get this Failed to start scanner: error during device I/O
