I've recently installed Fedora 17 - and have a very old "Ready for Win98!" flatbed scanner attached to it. Simple Scan (working with SANE? I think :)) recognises the scanner, but when I hit scan, I get the message "Unable to connect to scanner". A bit of google has put me under the impression that I need to link to some firmware. However, Benq nor Google can provide me anymore with said firmware... Would any of you perchance know how to get my scanner going? With many thanks for any hints, ? Greetz ?
