I compiled Sane 1.09 on my Linux Red Hat 8.0 live machine and it worked perfectly with my CanoScan N656U scanner. I didn't expect it to be so easy, especially on a platform that doesn't get a whole lot of attention sometimes. Thank you SANE developers! Maurizio Tiecher

I compiled Sane 1.09 on my Linux PPC (YDL) machine and it worked perfectly with my old Relisys Scorpio scanner. I didn't expect it to be so easy, especially on a platform that doesn't get a whole lot of attention sometimes. Thank you SANE developers! Drew
