Hi,
I am trying to get my Canon MF4890 Scanner to work with Debian Stretch.
It scans one page correctly, and then returns an error (Error during
device I/O).
I am using as frontend gscan2pdf 1.5.2-1, sane 1.0.14-11, libsane
1.025-2+b1. The kernel is Linux 4.7.0-1-amd64. In /etc/sane.d/pixma.conf

This looks like a permission problem: the user who executed
sane-find-scanner is not allowed
