[sane-devel] Epkowa and 16-bit/colour?

Hi, I am wondering whether the epkowa backend is capable of 16 bits/channel, as I only get a funny stripy false colour preview at this depth. Scanning at 8 bpp is OK, but the 16 bpp options seems valid also in the sense the backend accepts it. I own an Epson Perfection 3490 Photo, which, by the

I own an Epson Perfection 3490 and I am beginning to use it with the CVS version of SANE (snapscan backend). While it seems to work well at resolutions up to 1200 dpi (but I did not yet perform really thorough testing), I noticed a kind of interlacing behaviour when scanning negatives/diapositives
