I struggle since a year of his... (Canon Canoscan Lide 220)
sys backend is out of
order it xsane, the simple scan, the skanlite/libskane, the gscan2pdf
with frontends.
Why, why, why?...
What kind of data shall I provide for the analysis?

sane-find-scanner gives its chip as GL 847+, GL848+ though the list
says it's a
GL124+.
There is no source file gl848.c as there are for GL124, GL647 etc.
Shall I try it on with an older program (.23, .24, .25!!?)?
