Best bet here is to contact the hplip guys, and see if they have an
ETA for support...

Hi, Guys than you for the responses.

To be clear, I don't have a problem with printing with this
printer/scanner/copier, it is only with scanning.

hpaio in the /etc/sane.d/dll.conf file is un-commented.

I have attached the outputs of :

sane-find-scanner -vv

usb-devices

Hopefully, there is a solution.

Pretty much all the deskjets are supported by the hplip project's
hpaio backend. Your best bet is with them.

Hi, Guys!

I recently purchased this HP Printer/Scanner/Copier and although Ubuntu
Linux detected it OK as a printer, SANE did not.

It would be great if a back-end could be written for it.

I have the Windows install disk with both 32-bit and 64-bit drivers on
it, if that is any help in writing a back-end for this device.
