Please go through the requirement and let me know if you are available? am looking for a Cognos planning resource for 3 to 4 months on site contract. This is an immediate requirement. Please let me know if you have any strong resource availability. Job Descriptio Independently develop new and enhance existing Cognos Planning applications 8.3 (Contributor and Analyst) and reports using Cognos Planning, and Cognos BI. 8.4 experience is preferred Experience authoring Cognos Planning technical requirements and design documents for business applications Support existing Cognos Planning applications with direct customer contact including process and requirements phases Work directly with customers accommodate the customer's business needs, resolve conflicting user demands and maintain positive customer relations with strong communication and coordination Develop processes and procedures to administer Cognos Planning applications · Must be able to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to Cognos Planning application, technical, and process problems of high complexity Desire to maintain expert technical knowledge of Cognos Planning and BI capabilities, understanding how these tools can be used to deliver unparalleled business value. Write reports using Cognos Planning and data warehouse-based sources Proven track record of building models from scratch and demonstrated experience with the tools Contributor and Analyst · Must be able to work independently to develop Cognos Planning applications (Contributor and/or Analyst), PowerPlay cubes, and Cognos 8.4 reports · Knowledge of Data warehouse, ETL and SQL languages · Effective oral and written communication skills Document and optimize business processes including the data flow in and out of Cognos Planning Demonstrated ability to create and interpret Cognos Planning technical requirements and design documents Ability to handle multi tasking.-- Thanks and Regards..
