*Job Requisition: Sr. DataStage Developer * *Location: Chicago, IL* *Duration: 6 months* Mandatory Skills: - 5-7 yrs DataStage 7.1 and higher (server and parallel versions) - DataStage v81 Enterprise Edition with Teradata and Oracle database experience - UNIX (AIX, HP-UX) and shell scripting skills - Ability to work independently to flesh out ambiguous technical specifications if necessary. -Ability to concurrently work on multiple projects of varying size and complexity, possibly using different DataStage versions against different databases Secondary Skills: DataStage v7.1 Server Edition with Oracle and Informix database experience desired Experience with Control-M scheduling tool Duties: This individual is proficient in analyzing operational business systems and developing Data Acquisition releases. This position requires expertise in Data Warehouse architectures and Data Warehouse ETL tools & technologies, which are utilized to integrate disparate data sources and populate very large Multi-Dimensional data structures. This individual must be able to conduct discussions with diverse IT and business functional audiences. The individual is able to function independently with minimal oversight/direction and is also capable of authoring quality documentation of deliverables.
