Job Title: Sharepoint/.net Developer location:Herndon, Virginia Duration: 6-12 months Minimum Requirements: The External Data platform team is responsible for support the maintenance of a highly customized *Sharepoint 2007 platform, as well as MS-SQL and Oracle backend databases associated with this platform.*The position will require detailed knowledge of Sharepoint (including knowledge of the Windows Sharepoint Services and MOSS .NET libraries), *MS-SQL, and various SQL clients*. It will also require strong communication skills, and the incumbent will be expected to interact directly with customer regarding issues and resolutions. The duties associated with this p*osition include Sharepoint development and administration, .NET development, deployment of web-parts, event handlers and the like, monitoring space usage, diagnosing errors, administering distributed databases, and performing database modifications. Additonal duties include processing of problem tickets through Remedy. Familiarity with T-SQL and MS-SQL data structures and administration is a must.
