*Embedded Test Engineer - Wireless/RF Need EAD or GC - permanent-Preferred locals *LA, California. ** I hope you had a good weekend. I wanted to send you a new requirement that just became available. This is a 6+ month contract to hire position with a very large client of mine in the medical devices industry. For this position, we are going to require candidates who *either have an EAD or a green card*. This is because they will be converting permanently after the contract duration. The position is located in the Los Angeles area in California. Candidates for this position will need to have the following experience: - 4+ years of experience as a test engineer working on embedded software that has been developed in C, C++ - Testing experience working with RF or Wireless protocols (802.11, 802.14 or 802.15 would be ideal) - Experience working with end users/customers and writing test plans and test cases (this is very important) - Scripting experience for testing automation is a big plus - Software testing on small handheld devices is a plus This is a software testing position, they will not be troubleshooting wireless hardware or the network. Local candidates are preferred but non-local will work if you are able to fly them out for a face to face interview (this will probably be required).
