Rate is up to $65 per hour.
*Here is the REQ*
Consultant will support the Muni Technology team is focused on providing
support and enhancements for existing applications, as well as delivering
technology solutions for the Muni business globally, used by the traders,
salespeople and operations analysts between the Securities and Derivatives
space.
· Support and maintenance: Maintain high level of support for
existing applications to address the needs of traders, salespeople and
operations analyst
· Small enhancements: You will work as an integral part of a global
development team for the Municipals Trading division and partner with
colleagues in various other derivatives and securities technology teams. You
will design, develop, test and support small enhancements to existing
systems and tools based on client requirements.
*Experience / Skills / Systems Requirements:***
· Programming experience in *C* is necessary
· Design and development skills in one or more object-oriented (such
as *Java, C++, C#,* Smalltalk) or functional (such as LISP) programming
languages
· Previous development experience using *SQL* for *Sybase or
Oracle*databases is a plus.
· Experience with *distributed systems and message-oriented middleware
concepts* highly desirable.
· Solid communication and interpersonal skills are a must given that
the role will involve liaising with business
· The needs of the Municipals *trading businesses* are extremely
dynamic, so excellent problem solving skills are a must in addition to a
strong programming background.
· Prior *experience with ideally Municipal Bond trading and at least
Fixed Income trading systems*
· A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical
Engineering or similar discipline required.
