*Location : Chicago, IL * *Duration: Long Term * *Responsibilities* · Work closely with client business teams to understand the various models and rules · Build lavastorm mappings use BRE as per client needs · Provide technical expertise, troubleshooting, and problem investigation for customer end-users · Recommend creative approaches to solving unique customer problems while utilizing product functionality to the full extent · Take initiative to achieve value-added results, within scope of responsibility · Recommend alternatives and provide risk assessments based on areas of expertise · Develop methods and techniques to improve the process of providing excellent support to customers, contributing to Mpahasis support repository Qualifications · Strong problem solving skills, emphasizing a technical consultant’s skill set with a demonstrated, solid understanding of software development · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. In addition to regular customer communications, you will be expected to contribute regularly to various procedural, project, and knowledge-base documentation · Able to work with minimal direction while promoting an open flow of information to ensure all stakeholders are well informed · Possess the technical skill and knowledge to seek and share appropriate information with clients and coworkers, enabling you to respond to inquiries with timely, meaningful, fact-based, and constructive feedback · Experience in a customer facing role, preferably within the computing/pharma industry. Preferred Technical Skills · Database/data analysis experience (e.g. RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL); Oracle administrative skills preferred. · Understand object oriented software development. Experience with Java and/or Python a plus. · Understand the components that comprise a web application system, i.e. database, web application server, and web application client/browser with associated plug-ins/extensions etc. An understanding of how to install a web server and then package and deploy a web application (e.g. java .WAR file) is required, as well ask knowledge of one or more specific web application architectures (e.g. Jaspersoft, Weblogic, Tomcat, IIS) and associated technologies (e.g. JSP, HTML, XML). · Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows and related technologies is a requirement, and the more current the knowledge the better.
