Trying to install virtualbox here and starting with acpica. The build
fails with this error:
cc -c -O2 -march=i486 -mtune=i686 -D_LINUX -D_GNU_SOURCE -DACPI_ASL_COMPILER
-I../../source/include -I../../source/compiler -ansi -Wall
-Wbad-function-cast -Wdeclaration-after-statement -Werror
The SBo page for VirtualBox notes that it will not build on a stock x86_64
system. What is meant by 'stock?' What's required to build it on a host
running -13.37/x86_64?
