I don't own cwiid but it is an optional dependency for one of my packages.
I don't plan on maintaining this package but I am providing a patch so that
cwiid can build on Slackware{,64} 14.0.

It looks like the ARCH variable is exported by sbopkg when it is building
the redis package and is being picked up by a Makefile('s). Without
hacking the redis code, one could put 'unset ARCH' in
/etc/sbopkg/sbopkg.conf' and let the slackbuild do its work and figure out
ARCH by itself.

found a possible workaround using the --content-disposition wget flag,
so it appears that wget wassn't parsing the download correctly.
That is pretty common when downloading from github to use the
--content-disposition flag for wget especially when downloading from the
Tags section.

slackbuilds.org. Due to a job change and having my Slackware computer
die on me, I've decided to give up a bunch of my slackbuilds. I don't
have the time or the access to a computer to update/respond to issues
like I did
I use ffmpeg 0.8 and I wasn't able to compile it. I've had to patch a
lot of applications to get them to compile against ffmpeg 0.8.
Anyways, I was able to compile audacity and I'm attaching a patch.

There are some options that you can pass to the setup.py file in your
slackbuild. To find out what options are available w/out installing,
try running:

I wasn't aware of this particular issue until rworkman told me about
it after I had submitted the slackbuild. My default desktop back then
was KDE and I had no issues. Under at least XFCE, maybe other
environments, this error happens. It works on my production box
running the XFCE desktop
library install location and some other minor nits with

The slack-desc file for the QtCurve-KDE4 package has QtCurve-KDE3 in it.
When installing QtCurve-KDE4*.tgz the slack-desc info doesn't show up
because of the name discrepency. KDE3 should be KDE4 in the slack-desc
