Dear Sir, I would like to Download SpamBayes 1.0.4 (courtesy of PCUser
magazine) in Sydney Australia but I am not with Optusnet but Telstra
Bigpond Cable.
Can I specify the Optusnet Mirror ? as there is no Telstra or Bigpond
mentioned on your download page for Sydney.

OK, is there only the file dialogs.rc in \languages\fr\DIALOGS

No, there are four translation tasks. What follows is an abridged
version of the instructions in README-DEVEL.txt - it is long, but it

“think”) and then stops. It doesn’t move the item. Then, when I
click on the item again and select “delete as spam” it gives me a

Can anyone tell me how to set up SpamBayes on Mozilla Thunderbird.
The FAQ has step-by-step instructions for setting up SpamBayes with
Outlook Express. For the most part, these are identical to the steps
required for Thunderbird, so you could try those.
I have downloaded the 'non Outlook'

There is a partial translation of the interface into French in all of
the alpha versions of 1.1. If you are willing to try alpha (i.e. pre-
release) software, we would be happy to receive reports about the
quality of the translation, and any
I've configured two PCs (a notebook and a desktop) with Outlook and
SpamBayes to use the same database folder, which is on the desktop
PC which
is always present and switched on.
- Should this configuration work properly?
If only one copy of Outlook is open at a time, then yes. Otherwise
Make sure you have DEP turned off. In Dell systems it's in the BIOS, but
YMMV.

Hi Bob,
Do you mean the Data Execution Prevention setting under Windows 2003 (System
/ Performances / ...) ? Or, really in the server BIOS ?

I'm using the Outlook Addin version 1.1a2 of SpamBayes with Outlook 2003.
The SPAM or Delete as Spam button does not seem to do anything when I'm

folders. SpamBayes is filtering these folders, but I can't manually

Hi Bob,
Good news ! The problem was the DEP setting under Windows.
It was activated for all the programs. I just had to set the default

I don't think anyone has been able to come up with a single
procedure that resolves the problem in all cases, and there's reason to doubt
that this is a SpamBayes problem. However, the tracker lists several things that
people have tried that seemed to help, so I thought you might find it
