after having installed that update I can report that the included
firmware 4.3_146928-01_2011.06.03.14.41 indeed solves the slow screen
update and stalling problem which was previously reported here.
So everyone is suggested to update their firmwares to that one.

That's NSCM. Non-smart card mobility. That feature isn't there with
Linux. Minuses, of course you have cards to deal with (buy, keep track
of, etc). But if you don't hot desk, then no need.

A quick Google search shows there is a change in GDM that prevents SRSS from
running right on RHEL6
