Cannot connect to Google Talk

Hi there. Using Pidgin 2.5.5 I can successfully connect to a Google Talk account with a googlemail.com domain. However, when I use Pidgin to connect to a Google Talk account with a hotmail.co.uk domain, the connection is rejected as Not Authorized. I am using the following

Hi there, I am a new user to Pidgin. When I log in and it comes up and tells me that I have an email, I click on the 1 New Email link but it won't connect to Hotmail. It tells me that either the password or email address is incorrect. Shouldn't it just connect straight through to my email
