s there a way to be invisible AND still have buddy pounces generated? I sometimes like being invisible to get work done, but if certain friends come online, I would like to be notified. Is this possible? I found this XMPP code (below) to enable invisibility in Pidgin, but when I use it, my buddy

I'm wondering why Pidgin splits IM conversations into multiple segments in a single day. For instance, I chat with a coworker at various times during the day, and the conversation gets cleared out and logged as multiple segments when I close the IM window rather than just appearing as one

My first gtalk/gmail account would not enable. I connected ANOTHER account and that one was able to connect. I have made no changes to either Pidgin or Gmail (that I know of) I have search for solutions online and none have worked. . . . I have run debug and have included here. (14:23:50)
