I am currently using the Russian Social Networking Site vk.com which has
a instant messenger system similar to facebook. It would be great to see
this functionality added to Pidgin!

Shouldn't this log clear if I'm not even logged into Pidgin?
Is there a way to verify that a log is not being kept by anyone in the chat
room?

Pidgin may keep logs of conversations under ~/.purple/logs/ depending
