When you try to connect to the account what error message do you get (at
the bottom of the buddy list)?
If there isn't any connection error, then try getting a debug log as you
disconnect and reconnect to the account. From the buddy list, Help->Debug

Does anyone know if there's a way to display idle time (status change) in the
buddy list? I'm using pidgin + sipe and the status changes are captured in the
system log so they are available ... I would like to display them as m$ lync
client does.

After a computer restart, I suddenly can't get back onto my Pidgin account.
It's an xmpp.jp account and I don't know if it's the fault of xmpp or something
is wrong with my computer/client. I have used this account on pidgin for 2
