[2.10.1]-Google Talk Status Is Always Away ???
Hi,
Using current Pidgin IM version 2.10.1 on Windows 7 HP 64Bit.
Today I added my Google Talk account to Pidgin,
but my Google Talk status is always Away.
(changing global status in Pidgin does not change Google Talk status?)
Anyone know how to
Nevermind.
I have an Android OS SmartPhone with Google Talk.
I went into the settings on Google Talk on the phone and fixed this problem.

Been using Pidgin IM for years to connect to ICQ,
but today it wont connect to ICQ?
Any ideas?

Hi,
Using Ubuntu 10.10 32bit Linux,
and using Pidgin 2.7.3 from repositories.
I can't connect to ICQ now?
I disabled Use SSL Use clientLogin
but it still won't connect to ICQ.
Both MSN and AIM are working.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I think emails with no subject should be automatically banned from the
mailing list.
I also think that the mailing list should have [Pidgin] prefix in the
subject line.
(like all other mailing lists I subscribe to)

Got everything setup, but have one question about Pidgin on Linux:
How do I disable showing the Pidgin Buddy List on all virtual desktops
in Linux?

I asked about this a few months ago.
I think it would be better if [Pidgin] was appended to each message in
the mailing list.
The other lists i subscribe to do this already.
It helps me to differentiate between spam and legitimate mail.
