Let us know if the problem continues. This could also be a problem with

Dear Pidgin Support Group,
One of our clients in the Finance section reports: Quite a few of us are on
Pidgin and have the same problem. My status shows that I'm always available
even if I manually set it as being away. Even after I quit the application
and shut down my laptop, I'm still

Good afternoon,
I am simply wondering if there is an easy way to get the Pidgin status
message to update itself to Program X in use... automatically when I
am using a certain program (thus letting Buddies know that the program
is in-use, since we are working with a network license). Similarly

Thanks, Dave Norman

reconnect, so Pidgin would show statuses properly.
I can't say which version

I use the 2.10.0 version of Pidgin and there's a certain problem involving one
of my regular contacts. They use MSN and I use Pidgin. Sometimes, they appear
to be online but upon sending them a message, Pidgin returns an error saying
the message couldn't be sent because the user is offline.
