mismatch what does that mean? Is there a plugin needed?

I've been using Pidgin for years and I have to say that you guys have done a
great job with this project. Over the last year I have been having a problem
accepting multi-user chat session invitations with IBM lotus sametime users,
when I click accept pidgin just dissapers (crash
The Buddy list shows my name as offline, yet the drop down shows
available. Others see my status as offline.
Possibly pertinent information:
PreferencesNetworkIP Address Use auto... is checked
PreferencesNetworkPortsEnable auto... is checked
PreferencesProxyNo Proxy, Use remote.. unchecked
Is it possible to import a Sametime contact list into pidgin? I've tried the
List Handler plugin but with no success. Any ideas?

I believe this used to be an option that was controllable in pidgin but
that got lost during a policy change on where protocols can expose options
and has never been fixed (because the Sametime support is unmaintained).
If you check your ~/.purple/prefs.xml file

yes, I hear you on that. Other Pidgin plugins have this implemented but my
guess is this function is lacking in the SameTime protocol plugin
Our Sametime plugin is essentially unmaintained. I don't think any
Pidgin developers have access to a Sametime server. Someone with an
interest in that plugin needs to step up and help.

And my SameTime account is showing up as unknown. I also don't see
SameTime listed as an option for new accounts in the drop down menu. Do I
need to relink a library? I tried grep'in the list and didn't see
