I have one more reply to spam in my inbox than I have spams on this list. My filters may have caught some spams, but either way, that's ridiculous. As you may or may not be aware, it is a string of holidays around the world -- Hannukah, Christmas, the New Year, and then Orthodox Christmas. Many of the developers and moderators have family and friends and would like to spend some time with them. I am personally one of the two people who process spam on this list, and I am out of the country and largely disconnected for two weeks visiting in-laws in Russia. The other person is getting married this month and is understandably busy. I became aware of the spams on this list this afternoon (GMT+5), but could not process them -- I am doing so now. I know that the people who send replies to spam to mailing lists think that they are being very clever, but it just annoys the rest of us, even those who have to fix the problem.
