Is there a way that I can set a particular buddy to ignore so that I don't get
any notifications when they type to me but that I still get their IMs? I know
I can block them but then I don't get any of their IMs which is not what I want.

Hi.
Yesterday I was able to use AIM via Pidgin. Today it's not working. I was
running Pidgin 2.10.4, and upgraded to 2.10.6.
Below is the debug text. Hopefully someone can deduce the issue and help me
solve it!
Thanks :)

Thank you, that was the solution. Thank you!
I had the History feature working before, so I must have worked out how
to do this once before. It's a sure sign that I'm losing my grip as I get
older.

Hi,
I am using Pidgin 2.10.0-1.fc14 (libpurple 2.10.0) with Fedora 14.
When I delete a buddy or delete a group, it doesn't stick.
If pidgin is restarted, the deleted buddy or group is back,
the same as before.
I've Googled this. They say it's a bug and no solutions are offered.
Is that the
Sometimes this happens when using a Jabber/XMPP account where your
buddy list is managed by the server and the server forbids changes.
Could that be the case?
You could also open Help--Debug Window, try deleting stuff, then look
for hints as to what may be wrong.
hey, Ive got a question linked to this. I removed someone from my chat list
the other day by mistake - I was playing around with my contacts because I
wanted to clear a few names.
When I went to my gmail I noticed that the person's picture as well as
appearance in chat had gone. I went to the
